Visit Catherine Palace included in the mandatory minimum for every tourist visiting Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo). It is in the Catherine Palace that the recreated the Amber Room, the original of which disappeared during the Great Patriotic War.

In the “low season” the museum is open from 10-00 to 18-00 (ticket office until 16-40);
In May and September the museum is open until 19-00 (ticket office from 12-00 to 18-00).
From June to Augustthe museum is open until 20-00 (box office for individual visitorsfrom 12-00 to 19-00, on Monday and Wednesday until 20-00.).
Weekend: Tuesday (throughout the year) and the last Monday of the month (except from May to September).
When visiting the palace, bags and women's backpacks are a musthand over to the cloakroom.

Visiting the palace after the pandemic is only possible with a personalized electronic ticket, which can be purchased on the palace website for certain sessions.
The price of a ticket to the palace includes an entrance ticket to Catherine Park, excursion services and a radio earpiece.
Unsold tickets are sold at palace box office (near the Lyceum), but not worth it

The Amber Room is included in both routes, but route No. I includes more halls. Opened in June 2019 after restoration, the Lyon Hall (currently closed for restoration) is included in route No. II. The duration of a tour of the palace in high season is about 45 minutes. You can see the palace in its entirety and without crowds only in the low winter season.
